Mat Classes (Pilates, Fitness and Cardio)

Pilates Mat is open to students of all levels, as instructors will provide modifications for each exercise based upon each individual client’s needs and experience. This challenging and fun workout includes traditional STOTT PILATES® Mat exercises using a combination of small apparatus for assistance and resistance. Exercises are based upon the five STOTT PILATES® basic principles and focus on spinal alignment, proper form, core strength and stability. Classes include use of various combinations of the stability ball, resistance bands, circles, resistance cords, arc barrels, toning balls, and BOSU® trainers to provide you with a fun, challenging, mindful workout.

HardCore Lift is a traditional fitness class that will guide you through a full body workout intended to build strength and muscle tone. Equipment utilized may include free weights, weighted body bars, medicine balls, resistance tubes and bands, stability balls, BOSU® trainers, etc.

Happy Hour Hit the bar for an hour after a hard day at work! Use the toning and strengthening resistance of the weighted body bar at a heart pumping cardio pace and get a hardcore, fat shredding, muscle toning workout.

HardCore Spin is an indoor cycling class performed on stationary bikes. Your instructor will guide you through a cardio ride of varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate, blasting calories and toning your body.

TurboKick® is the hottest kickboxing class around! You'll kick, punch and groove the calories away in this action-packed, super fun, super safe and effective cardiovascular workout. Our classes are intense cardio kickboxing that can burn up to 800 calories in one hour. This class combines boxing, martial arts, plyometrics, sports drills and interval training.

Power Hour (Pilates/Yoga) This hour of power gives you 30 minutes of power Pilates, followed by 30 minutes of power yoga and stretching. Power Pilates is a quickly paced mat workout that flows from exercise to exercise. No props are used in Power Pilates (unless students require a prop for individual postural issues). After a heart pumping, fast paced Pilates mat workout, the class will transition and lead you through a series of stretching, strengthening and elongating positions, with a focus on controlled movements and rhythmic breathing. From the mountain pose to the reclining butterfly pose, you'll improve circulation from head to toe, leaving you with a feeling of pure vitality.

HardCore Cardio Bootcamp is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class that combines high-intensity cardio drills with strength and toning intervals to provide the ultimate fat burning, heart pumping workout. A combination of calisthenics, plyometrics, sports drills, and solid conditioning exercises that will define, tone and strengthen your muscles, HIIT burns an average of 600 calories per hour! Not only is HIIT proven to blast more calories than high-volume, lower intensity aerobic workouts such as jogging or running, but it is also FUN! Ditch the boring monotony of the treadmill and get ready to sweat your glutes off! What are you waiting for... let's get ripped! (Bootcamp is indoors during the winter months, outdoors from June - August)

Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, heart-racing, muscle-pumping, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got ZUMBA®!

BOSU on the Mat BOSU® on the Mat incorporates the use of the BOSU Trainer® into the mat repertoire to create an even greater challenge. Improve and challenge your balance, stability, and core strength to maximum levels with Pilates on the BOSU®.
 

Pilates Equipment Classes

Level 1 Reformer will teach and guide you through the STOTT PILATES® Essential Reformer repertoire. Unlike the traditional mat exercises, the Reformer adds additional resistance through the use of springs to provide greater work to the extremities while intensifying the challenge to the core. Reformer group classes are limited to 4 students per class. Visit our web scheduler to sign up for your first Level 1 Reformer class!

Semaphore on the Reformer All Levels Reformer builds upon the Essential level exercises and now incorporates the intermediate and advanced repertoire. The resistance of the Reformer combined with the increased pace and challenge will result in toned, strong, lean muscles.
Fusion combines use of the Reformer, Springboard, and various small mat apparatus, such as BOSU® Balance trainers, resistance tubes and bands, fitness circles, etc. Fusion
Reformer Jumpboard Interval Jumpboard Interval combines Reformer exercises with plyometric/cardio intervals on the Reformer Jumpboard to get the heart rate pumping for a great fat-burning, muscle-toning combo. Reformer group classes are limited to 4 students per class.

Reformer for Men Boost your athletic performance by adding the Reformer to your fitness routine. These challenging exercises will strengthen the core to minimize the risk of injury and maximize the results from this intensive conditioning workout. You will reach optimum strength and agility, improve balance and coordination, tone every muscle, define your abs, and improve athletic performance.

 

Private Training

Personal Fitness Training
Each private session consists of 60 minutes of personal one-on-one training with a certified personal trainer. Personal training sessions are uniquely programmed based on the client's goals and desires, whether it be increased muscle mass and/or strength, training that will compliment a specific sport or athletic training, weight loss, etc. Free weights, weighted body bars, medicine balls, stability and balance trainers, resistance tubes/bands, and various other weight training equipment will be utilized. Each piece of large Pilates equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair and Ladder Barrel might also be used in a traditional weight lifting manner, rather than for Pilates exercises.

Sit Up Combo on the Cadillac Private Pilates Training
Each private session consists of 60 minutes of personal one-on-one training with a highly qualified instructor who has been extensively trained in the STOTT PILATES® method. The client’s first private session will include a postural analysis, which will then be used to create customized programming based on individual needs. Students will be able to utilize each piece of equipment during private sessions, including the Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair and Ladder Barrel, as well as small mat apparatus including the stability ball, BOSU® Trainer, arc barrel, resistance bands, resistance cords and circles.

Duet Training
Workout with a friend! 60 minute duet sessions are a fun way to share your private sessions with a friend at a reduced price. Duet sessions may be traditional fitness or STOTT PILATES® based and may involve use of all large STOTT PILATES® equipment, all small mat apparatus, and/or all weight lifting equipment. Cardiovascular training may or may not be incorporated in private training sessions, depending on the participant's desires and goals.
