New Classes and Studio Updates

Athletic Conditioning on the Mat is a traditional fitness class that will guide you through a full body workout intended to build strength and muscle tone. Equipment utilized may include free weights, weighted body bars, medicine balls, resistance tubes, flex bands, stability balls, BOSU trainers, etc.

Athletic Conditioning on the Reformer is a traditional fitness class using the Pilates Reformer as a resistance machine. You will get a full body workout that includes more power type exercises with less choreography than traditional Pilates exercises. Springs (resistance) used will be higher than typically used to simulate heavier weight lifting and encourage maximum strength and muscle growth. Other resistance equipment such as free weights, body bars and medicine balls will also be utilized in several exercises.

Pilates also helps prevent injury, improves performance in sports (golf, skiing, skating etc.), and improves balance, coordination & circulation. Pilates is no-impact, thus easy on the joints. Pilates can be customized to suit everyone from rehab patients to elite athletes and is a wonderful complement to other methods of exercise.

HardCore Pilates & Fitness is not your average Pilates studio. Our goal is to make your time with us an escape from the daily grind while doing something wonderful for your body. We are a fully equipped STOTT PILATES studio. Look for specialty workshops periodically, which will include such disciplnes as HIIT Cardio Bootcamp, Tai Chi, Krav Maga (self-defense), specialty conditions (such as exercise for osteoporosis, pre/post-natal exercise, etc.), yoga, stretch and tone, and much more.
